Elimu was established in 2008 with a vision to connect every school to the world. We believe that technology will bring education to all citizens.

Today that vision is alive as Elimu runs the Taking Schools Online program. All schools should benefit from embracing technology to improve the learning outcomes of their learners, reduce costs of administration and to have a positive impact on the environment.

Our mission is to take 40,000 schools in Kenya online with a total of 100,000 schools in Eastern Africa.
