The tuiFUND Micro-grant For Social Enterprises

Our Micro grant fund supports innovative social enterprises in Kenya with positive socio-economic impact in rural, low-income, and marginalized communities. We offer grants from Ksh 50,000 to Ksh 500,000 to catalyze grassroot social enterprises to be commercially viable and sustainable longterm.

Who we are looking for

Social enterprises that are addressing critical issues affecting communities and the world through their businesses and that are ready to scale up for enhanced impact.

 

To qualify, a social enterprise must:

​

1) Be registered in Kenya

2) Have a viable Business 2 Community (B2C) model with proven traction

3) Be tackling a critical social and environmental issue through Innovation

4) Have a solid business plan to scale operations, impact, and reach its target demographic

5) Have a strong  team and show clear commitment towards building a sustainable business for impact

Impact areas can include but are not limited to:

 

1) Improving the lives and livelihoods of marginalized populations

2) Contributing to reducing waste and enhancing the regeneration  of resources

3) Reducing food loss and reusing food waste

4) Addressing and mitigating the effects of climate change 

What you will get

Grant amount of up to KES 500,000

In return, tuiFUND will work with your organization to generate and collect macro/microdata within your intervention demographic
